the 30minute status for the past 8 hours that i've been at work has been the e-coli outbreak from tainted pre-packaged spinach. semantics and accuracy are important in this business. "at least 19 states" is safer to say than "20 states". don't want to tag a random state that hasn't yet had an e-coli victim. while this whole hoopla about not eating spinach was whirling around, i contentedly ate my salad. crunch crunch. my greens came from a pre-packaged bag...i don't remember seeing any spinach. maybe it's paranoia but i'm feeling very gassy and crampy at the moment. 20 minutes till i jet out over the g.w. bridge and to my bed.
