with too many things in my hands, i put my cell on the roof of my car as i unlocked the door. i loaded everything, got in, clicked on my seatbelt and drove off. there were a couple of jolting halts, sharp turns and speed stretches, and then i heard a faint clunk clunk. alas after a futile attempt of retracing my drive via car and bike i did not find my oh-so-sturdy-refrigerator of a phone. and now i am the owner of an anorexic razor (that i've dropped countless times already) kindly provided by sir eddo.
lesson: NEVER put your cell on the roof of your car thinking you will remember it's there before you drive off into the sunset.
