absolutely nothing good, even remotely beneficial to humanity, has come out of the war in iraq. this indubitably affirmed after reading "imperial life in the emerald city" and watching "the ghosts of abu ghraib" and "woodruff reports: from iraq and back".
"democracy" for the iraqis still in the works after 3+ years; gross violation of the geneva convention justified by detaining supposedly machinating terrorists; innocent civilians killed while shopping for vegetables; cheney rushed to a bomb shelter while bystanders take the bomb blast; insulated decisions made for an entire country by people who don't understand the arab culture; cronyism and it goes on and on.
can we have a reagan again? or even a clinton? someone who can move us with their words and make us believe. november 2008 come quickly, please.
