yesterday i felt for the first time the exhausted bitterness of losing. the eagles fell to the saints, 27-24. ah so close. and at their final chance to have the upper-hand, the false start that made us jump and hoot but quickly drive our fists to the floor. the time running out, the saints uncompromising defense, their cinderella story and the deafening advantage of home turf...the end was already written out. that was my first football game and it was actually pretty engaging, although, i did conk out during the end of the 3rd quarter.
and while we're on the topic of sports. i can't wait for beckham and his family to move on over to the states because that just means more pictures to ogle! but i have to admit i'm not a soccer aficionado. i'm one of the many who didn't know Galaxy.
and as a part of many firsts, this is my first time ever writing about sports. wow. wow.
